1. Blogger?? All those blogs out there don?t write themselves and the owners of the blogs don?t always do the writing themselves. When you are looking for freelance writing opportunities, remember that many of them depend on freelance writers to write the content for their blogs. There are many niches for blogs, too; that means that there are many topics that you can write on.
2. Article writer ? Those who have web sites online often use article marketing as a means of promotion and as a way of getting links back to their sites and they may hire freelance writers to do the writing for them.? If you know how to build links into articles and connect them all together you can offer bonus services.? You might want to offer social media services to go with the article writing, like tweeting the articles if you have a large number of followers.
3. Resume writer?? If you have good business skills and are well versed in resume and cover letter writing, there is a good market for people like you and you can make money by charging for your writing skills.? Make sure that you are up-to-date with the latest trends and give the best services possible because these are clients that may come back for more.? You? might consider offering them a free bonus with tips for getting the best results from resumes and cover letter, including the fact that resumes and cover letters that are written specifically for each employer tend to get better results.
4. Content mill writer?? There are many companies that hire writers in bulk to write loads of content for their web sites and if you can write fast there are many options.? This may not be the highest paying option but it tends to be fairly reliable if you get hired by the right company.
5. Copywriter?? People who understand sales concepts and are good with words can make money by writing text for sales pages for those who have a product or service to sell.? Keep in mind that one of the biggest mistakes that those who are new to copywriting make is UNDER-pricing their services.
6. Magazine writer?? Many writers make their living by writing for magazines; women?s magazines, entertainment magazines ? there are a wide array of magazines that you can write for.? Writing for magazines takes more time but the amount you get paid tends to be higher than prices that are offered online.
7. E-book writer?? You can write e-books for others or you can write e-books for yourself and sell them.? Both can be very profitable.? If you decide to write ebooks for yourself you can sell them on Fiverr and other micro-job sites, Kindle, Smashwords, and several other platforms.? Remember that when you are writing for yourself, you also need to promote for yourself or find someone to do it for you.
8. Newsletter writer?? You may be able to find jobs writing entire newsletters or you might get jobs writing articles for newsletters.? Both options can be profitable if you are especially knowledgeable about a specific field.
9. PLR writer?? PLR stands for Private Label Content and people who write this kind of content write content once and then sell it multiple times over for a lesser price.? While there are many people who don?t believe in using written PLR you can write different types of PLR including scripts, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and more.
10. Ghostwriter?? Generally, ghostwriters give up all rights to their work; they can write almost any type of content.
11. Newspaper writers?? Newspapers hire writers for news pieces, syndicated columns, and various reports; most of their writing tends to be in-house but they do hire some freelance writers as well.
12. Press Release writers?? Press Releases introduce new companies, services, products and sometimes even staff; writers need to have a flair for making not-so-exciting things sound very exciting.
