Warren A. Green
The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives have honored Warren A. Green, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health, with the ACHE Regent?s Lifetime Service Award. This award, which was presented at an all-day event on October 18, 2012, celebrates Green?s 40-plus years of dedication to the health care profession.
ACHE?s membership is comprised of over 40,000 health care executives. These men and women lead hospitals, health care systems and organizations. Their innovative spirits have charted new courses for their individual institutions and health care as a whole. According to its website, ACHE has established more than 80 chapters that help foster networking, educational opportunities and career development for health care professionals. Founded in 1973, the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives is an official chapter of ACHE; it was originally intended to serve only health care executives but has since expanded to represent all health care professions, including lawyers, accountants and consultants.
Carmela Coyle, president of the Maryland Hospital Association, recommended Green for the Lifetime Service Award. The Maryland Hospital Association?s membership consists of community and teaching hospitals, specialty hospitals, veterans? hospitals and long-term care facilities. This honor truly acknowledges the breadth and scope of Green?s contributions to the state of Maryland, and health care as a whole.
